Two men have been arrested and charged in an armed robbery that took place in Sedalia on Dec. 18, 2014.

The robbery took place at 108 South Ohio Avenue, The Gold Buyer, in downtown Sedalia.. During the commission of the robbery, the owner of the business, Wesley E. Brown, was struck several times in the face and shot twice in the upper chest area with a handgun. Wesley was hospitalized and has since recovered from his injuries. Cash, jewelry and a 9mm handgun were stolen from the business.

Henry L. Ward – 18 years old. Henry is already in the Pettis County Jail for unrelated charges. He was a juvenile at the time of the robbery/shooting, but was recently certified as an adult for this case. Henry has been charged with the following:

- Assault 1st Degree
- Robbery 1st Degree
- Unlawful Use of a Weapon
- Armed Criminal Action

Timothy L. Peck – 27 years old. Timothy was recently located and arrested in Chicago, Illinois. He has been charged with the following:

- Robbery 1st Degree
- Hindering Prosecution of a Felony
