Two people were injured in a 4-vehicle wreck that occurred Wednesday morning in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at 7:30, on Business 13 just south County Road SE 135.

According to the online crash report, a 2017 Jeep was stopped in traffic as a 2005 Hyundai was slowing down from behind. A 2003 Ford then approached the Hyundai from behind and abruptly applied the brakes. A 2006 Chevy then approached the Ford and applied the brakes.

The report indicates the Chevy struck the rear of the Ford, causing a chain reaction in which all the vehicles were damaged.

The driver of the Ford, 30-year old Brian M. Findley, of Clinton, suffered minor injuries, while the driver of the Hyundai, 55-year old Linda L. Gaskill, of Leeton, suffered moderate injuries.

Findley was taken to the VA clinic in Warrensburg, while Gaskill was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center, by JCAD, for treatment.

No other injuries were reported.
