Two Vehicles Extensively Damaged, Drivers Injured in Accident on US 50

An accident on westbound US 50 at 10:44 yesterday morning led to minor injuries for two people. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a Chrysler 300 driven by 30-year-old David Ross of Liberty traveled off the roadway and onto the westbound lanes of US 50 in Johnson County, where it struck a 2003 Honda driven by 20-year-old Rebekah Phoenix of Centerview. Both drivers suffered minor injuries, and both vehicles were extensively damaged.
