Two Warrensburg Residents Injured in Head-On Crash

Two men from Warrensburg were injured Wednesday morning in a head-on vehicle collision in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck just before 8:00, on MO-13 at SE 650 Road.

According to the online crash report, a 1998 Dodge pulled into the path of a 1994 Peterbilt, causing the vehicles to strike head-on.

The driver of the Dodge, 18-year old Nathan M. Jones, suffered serious injuries in the wreck. Jones was taken to Research Hospital, by JCAD, for treatment.

The driver of the Peterbilt, 59-year old Kevin D. Westerhold, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.
