The Sedalia-Pettis County United Way will present the 2nd annual Fall Classic Auto Show on Saturday, September 7.

The auto show will take place at Gardner Denver, located at 305 N. State Fair Blvd, in Sedalia beginning at 11:00 in the morning.

The event is free to the public, but there is a $10.00 registration fee per vehicle.

Vendors will offer food and drinks for sale throughout the show. Event representative, Justin Pero, says this year the auto show has tripled the classes with about 76 trophies in total.

Pero said that in 2018 the car show featured about 350 vehicles and raised approximately $3,000.00.

The proceeds from this year's car show will benefit the United Way of Pettis County.

There will be several classes of cars, feature classics from pre-1950 all the way up to 1999. Modern cars from 2000 - present, along with motorcycles and streetbikes will be featured. The Truck class includes pre-1970 up to present day.

Pero additionally said the show has a theme of military and first responder appreciation, with the date being so close to September 11. There will be some military vehicles will be set-up, such as a Humvee and a mine layer. Emergency vehicles such as fire trucks, police cars and SWAT will also be on display.

The auto show is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.

Servicemen & woman and first responders will be honored with flag ceremony. A Minute of Silence will also be observed to honor the victims of 9/11.

A raffle will take place, with one of the prizes being an air compressor from Gardner Denver.
