
Wanted Felon Taken Into Custody in Sedalia
Dennis Raymond Johnson of Leeton has been successfully taken into custody in Sedalia, with the assistance of the US Marshals Service, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Pettis County Sheriff's Office.
Johnson, 49, was wanted on an active warrant for two counts of Felony Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree - involving a person under twelve years old.
A $500 reward was offered on Dec. 11.
Johnson was booked in at the Johnson County Jail at 3 p.m. Tuesday. His bond was set at $150,000.
"The above charges are mere accusations and do not constitute evidence of guilt. Evidence supporting these charges must be presented before a court to determine guilt or innocence.
Thank you for your continued support,” the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office said.
