If you're a small business owner there's a good chance you've read articles or been told you have to have a presence on social media. You need to be on Facebook. People have to be able to find you on Google. For those who grew up on social media this stuff is easy. For the rest of us, depending on our digital and social media comfort level, creating that presence can be intimidating. The good news, it's fairly easy to do. And the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce wants to help you do it.

As part of Chamber University, the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce is holding a Digital Marketing Series. The first webinar is on content creation and Facebook for Business. The webinar will be lead by my fellow chamber marketing committee members Eleanore Schmutz, Marketing Manager for Western Missouri Medical Group and Annie McCoy, Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Central Missouri.

Eleanore and Annie will guide you through creating posts and ads and Facebook for business. You'll also leave the session with knowledge on accessing various free marketing tools and a list of ways to help market your specific business.

The webinar is on Wednesday July 29 from 11:45AM - 1:00PM CDT. This webinar is free and you do not need to be a Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce member to attend although registration is required for webinar login credentials. You can register for this webinar here.

There will be two other sessions in the Warensburg Chamber University Digital Marketing Series. These sessions will only be open to Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce members. If you're not a member and would like to join you can learn more about the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce here.

Townsquare Media Sedalia - Warrensburg is a member of the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce and Rob is a member of the marketing committee.
