A home in the 700 Block of Clubhouse Drive in Warrensburg sustained extensive fire damage on Saturday afternoon.

 

The Warrensburg Fire Department was notified of the fire at 4:26 p.m., and arrived at 4:30 p.m.,  to find fire on multiple floors with extension to the exterior of the building. The fire was brought under control at 5:10 p.m.

There were no occupant injuries reported, two firefighters were treated on-scene for heat related injuries. Units remained at the scene until 8:49 p.m.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office.

WFD was assisted on-scene by the Warrensburg Police Department, Johnson County Fire Protection District, and Johnson County Ambulance District. The Whiteman AFB Fire Department provided coverage in the city during that time period.
