Warrensburg Teens Collide on Business 13 in Johnson County

Two teenagers collided Tuesday afternoon in Johnson County on Business 13.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2014 Jeep Cherokee, driven by 17-year-old William C. Brinkley of Warrensburg, was traveling south on Business 13 at SE 125 Road at 3:35 p.m. and a 2007 Acura TSX was traveling north, when the Jeep attempted to turn east on 125, and traveled into the path of the Acura, driven by 19-year-old Skyler R. Smith of Warrensburg.

Smith suffered moderate injuries and was transported by JCAD to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.

Both vehicles had moderate damage.
