California Man Injured in Moniteau County Crash
A California man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Moniteau County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2014 Chevy Silverado, driven by 31-year-old William H. Roberts of California, Mo., was on Highway 50, one-half mile east of Jacket Factory Road (southeast of California) around 3 p.m., when the truck traveled off the right side of the road due to road conditions and struck a rock bluff.
Roberts, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City.
