Two Chilhowee Residents Injured in JoCo Collision
Two Chilhowee residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Thursday in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2018 Chevy Silverado, driven by 76-year-old Robert D. McQuitty of Chilhowee, was on Missouri 13 at Route BB around 5:45 p.m., when an eastbound 2013 Dodge Caravan, driven by 19-year-old Gareth E. Clifton of Warrensburg and pulled into the pathway of the Chevy Silverado. After impact, the Silverado traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a sign.
Roberty McQuitty and his passenger, 74-year-old Carolyn J. McQuitty, both of Chilhowee, suffered minor injuries and were transported by JCAD to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.
