Warsaw Man Injured after Jeep Strikes Embankment

A 59-year old man from Warsaw was injured Friday morning in a Benton County vehicle wreck.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at approximately 10:30, on Route PP at Poorboy Road.

According to the online crash report, a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee failed to stop for a stop sign, crossed the intersection and struck an embankment.

The driver, Robert P. Johnson, suffered moderate injuries. He was taken to Bothwell for treatment.

Johnson was wearing a safety device.
