A Warsaw man was injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2005 Chevy 1500, driven by 43-year-old Joshua S. Briden of Deepwater, was on Missouri 83, and was attempting to turn left onto Route MM, and turned into the path of a northbound 2019 Chevy Sonic, driven by 78-year-old Donald W. Street of Warsaw. The Sonic struck the towed unit of the 1500 around 12:30 p.m.

Street suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance for treatment.

The Chevy 1500 had moderate damage, while the Sonic had extensive damage. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
