Warsaw Man Injured in Weekend Wreck

A 38-year old man from Warsaw suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle wreck that occurred in Benton County on Saturday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Jared G. Friar was the driver of the Dodge Dakota on Commercial St. north of Hilltop Drive at approximately 12:00, when the truck traveled off the roadway and struck a light pole.

Friar suffered minor injuries and reportedly declined medical treatment. He was wearing a safety device.
