Warsaw Resident Injured after Vehicle Overturns

A 21-year old Warsaw woman was injured early Monday morning after her vehicle overturned in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at 3:40, on Poorboy Road west of Route M.

According to the online crash report, a 2006 Honda failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center line, overcorrected and traveled off the road. The Honda then struck an embankment and overturned.

The driver, 21-year old Chantel M. Veach, suffered moderate injuries. Veach reportedly declined medical treatment at the scene.

The Honda sustained extensive damage and was towed.
