Water Leak Repair Work to Affect East Broadway Traffic

The City of Sedalia’s Water Division will be working on East Broadway at its intersection with South Merriam Avenue beginning Monday, March 25 at 7 a.m. and continuing through Wednesday, March 27 at 5 p.m., to repair a water leak.

Travelers should anticipate Merriam closed to through traffic just north of its intersection with Broadway. Additionally, East Broadway will be reduced to one lane of traffic with flagging.

It should be noted that heavy equipment and workers will be operating in and near the roadway during this period. The work is weather and equipment dependent and the re-opening date may be affected by inclement weather or equipment breakdowns.
