
Windsor Woman Injured After Striking a Tree
A Windsor woman suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident that occurred in Johnson County at 6:30 Sunday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 67-year-old Lillian S. Lopata was the driver of an eastbound 2005 Dodge Stratus on Highway WW at Muddy Creek when she failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
She was transported by JCAD to Western Missouri Medical Center where she was treated for moderate injuries. She was wearing a safety device, according to the report.
The Dodge was totaled and towed from the scene.
