We are lucky that the Kansas City Chiefs have one of, if not the best, tight ends in the NFL.  Patrick Mahomes is very lucky to have this talent to throw to.  In fact, Travis caught 4 touchdowns in their last game against the Raiders.  Kelce set a Chiefs franchise and Monday Night Football record with those touchdowns in that 30-29 win.

Well, fans of the television show Married With Children may remember a former high school football star of Polk High also scored 4 touchdowns in a game.  That would be Al Bundy.  The shoe salesman was played by actor Ed O'Neill from 1987 to 1997 (11 seasons).

I mention this because Travis actually made reference to Al Bundy when he talked about his 4 touchdown performance.  See that below:

Now here is where things come full circle.  Actor Eric Stonestreet was a co-star with Ed on Modern Family.  Eric is also a big Chiefs fan, and Kansas City, Kansas native.  Obviously Ed got word of this and decided to respond to this, in the character of Al Bundy.  You can see that video clip below which Eric is in.

I guess this was a case of love, marriage, shoes and scoring touchdowns.  Kind of cool.  Here's hoping that Travis can break that record and score 5 touchdowns against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday.  We may need them all. It promises to be one of the most anticipated matchups of the NFL seasons.  Arrowhead will be loud and ready Sunday afternoon.  You can hear the game beginning at 2pm on Awesome 92.3.
