62-Year-Old Sedalia Woman Dies in a Residential Fire Saturday Evening

At 6:09 Saturday evening the Sedalia Police responded to a house fire at 1816 South Carr. Upon arrival the officers found that Sedalia Fire Department personnel had already entered the home, and was rendering aid to a woman found inside. The victim identified as 62-year-old Marilyn Ivy of the residence was transported to the Bothwell Regional Health Center Emergency Room, by the Pettis County Ambulance District where she was pronounced deceased. The police report states the Missouri State Fire Marshall has been called in to investigate the fire.
