Animal FAIR Helps Find Homes for Sedalia’s Adoptable Pets [INTERVIEW]

Animal F.A.I.R. is hosting an adoption event on Saturday, April 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Sedalia at the Tractor Supply Company. Animal FAIR is a group of dedicated volunteers rescuing cats and dogs from abuse, abandonment, neglect, illness and more.They are a non-profit, no kill animal rescue based in Sedalia, Missouri.

Sedalia Police Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint, Leads to Several Arrests

The Sedalia Police Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol conducted a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday (April 12) in the 2000 block of US Highway 65. The checkpoint was conducted on the southbound lanes of the highway between 10 p.m. on Saturday until 2 a.m. Sunday morning.

Ron Ditzfeld and Rick Yeager Will Represent Sedalia in the 2014 Fireball Run [INTERVIEW]

The Sedalia Chamber of Commerce announced on Monday (April 14) that a internet show, The Fireball Run, will be coming to Sedalia in October.

The Fireball Run will have two local business owners racing with the 40 teams selected. Rick Yeager, former owner of Yeager's Cycles, and Ron Ditzfeld, owner of Ditzfeld Transfer, will represent Sedalia during the course of the race that starts in Frisco, Texas and ends in Independence, Missouri in October.
