A Vehicle Accident in Johnson County Sent an Illinois Man to the Hospital Tuesday Afternoon

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident in Johnson County Tuesday afternoon..

That accident occurred at Southeast WW and Southeast 1101, just after 4:00.

The driver of a 2008 Yamaha failed to negotiate a curve, and traveled off the right side of the road, where it struck a hay bale. The driver, identified as 22-year old Ryan E. Kite, of Granite City, IL, suffered moderate injuries in the accident and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.
