Sedalia man discovers his handgun missing from his vehicle

 

At 5:15 Tuesday evening Sedalia police responded to Town and Country Motors, on West Broadway, in reference to a missing handgun. Upon arrival the victim told officers he brought his vehicle there for an oil change, and when he returned for it he found his handgun was missing from the vehicle. There was no information on a possible suspect in the police report.

2nd Handgun Stolen Tuesday, This Time From a Sedalia Residence

 

On Tuesday a victim in the 1300 block of South Ohio reported someone stole a 9mm High Point Pistol valued at approximately $250 from his residence. The police report states the victim provided officers with the name of a possible suspect.

Homemade Trailer Reported Stolen On East 5th

At 9:20 Thursday morning a victim in the 1100 block of East 5th reported the theft of a homemade trailer. There is information on the suspect vehicle according to the police report.

 

Johnson County accident Injuries a 33-year-old Holden Woman

At 8:21 Wednesday morning the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one vehicle accident on US 50 Highway West of Northwest 1751 Road in Johnson County. The accident occurred according to the report as the 2006 Chevrolet HHR, driven by 33-year-old Sheryl McCollum of Holden travelled off the right side of the roadway, and struck a ditch. McCollum received minor injuries, and was transported to St. Lukes East by private vehicle for treatment.
