Assault in the 1700 block of West 9th results in arrest for a female suspect

 

Just after 4pm Wednesday afternoon Sedalia Police investigated an assault complaint. Upon contact with the female victim she told the officers she had went to a residence to deliver a payment notice, and a suspect identified as 29-year-old Holly Leean Hoskins yelled and cursed at her then threw a cup of soda at her. Officers located Hoskins and following an investigation she was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail pending a bond of $533.50.

 

78-year-old Sedalia man arrested for failure to appear

 

AT 8:33 Wednesday morning Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check at a residence in the 1200 block of Liberty Park Blvd. Upon arrival officers made contact with 78-year-old Anthony Negron of the residence who was found to have an active failure to appear warrant with a cash only bond of $150. At the time of the police report Negron was in the Pettis County Jail pending the bond.

 

Warrant check on South Warren nets a 24-year-old woman

 

Around 3:40 Wednesday afternoon Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 1800 block of South Warren. Upon contact with the suspect, 24-year-old Heather Pummill of the residence the warrant for failure to appear was confirmed. Pummill was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending an $88.50 cash only bond.

 

2-suspects given summonses at Walmart Wednesday Evening

 

Wednesday evening Sedalia Police responded to the Walmart store on a theft complaint. Upon arrival officers made contact with two-suspects who had reportedly been involved in an incident of stealing.
The two suspects were given summonses, and are now banned from Walmart properties.

 

Thieves enter a home and steal $300 Wednesday afternoon

 

At 1:38 Wednesday afternoon Sedalia police were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of south Park on a theft complaint. Upon contact with the victim he told the officers someone had entered his home while he was in the shower, and stole $300, that was sitting on his kitchen table.

 

Thefts from vehicles reported on South Carr Thursday night    

 

Around 6:20 Thursday morning Sedalia Police received two theft complaints from residents in the 1300 block of South Carr. One of the victims reported $20 worth of items had been stolen from his vehicle. The second victim reported a USB adaptor and some change was taken from his vehicle. The police report states both incidents occurred during the overnight hours.
