Warrant Check nets two men with active warrants Friday night

At 9:32 Friday night the Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check at a residence in the 1100 block of South Moniteau. Upon arrival officers made contact with two suspects with warrants out of several counties and municipalities. Arrested at the scene according to one of the police reports was 36-year-old Todd Allen Harvey of Jefferson City. At the time of the police report Harvey was in the Pettis County jail pending bonds totaling $53,943 on active warrants out of Pettis, Johnson, Cole, and Lafayette Counties, plus a warrant out of the city of Sedalia. Also arrested at the scene was 30-year-old Nicholas Eugene Shull of Sedalia. Shull reportedly had warrants out of Pettis, Johnson and Lafayette Counties with bonds totaling $6,250.

Sedalia man arrested on a Pettis County warrant Thursday morning

Around 9:30 Thursday morning Sedalia Police responded to a residence in the 200 block of Driftwood Ave. on a subject with a warrant for felony stealing. Upon arrival officers made contact with the suspect identified as 60-year-old David Ronald Wheeler of Sedalia. Following confirmation of the warrant Wheeler was taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $7500 bond.

45-year-old Homeless man arrested on a no-bond parole violation warrant Thursday

At 3:46 Thursday afternoon Sedalia Police observed a man on foot known to have a no-bond parole violation warrant. The police report states 45-year-old Melvin Fahrner a homeless person was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail on the warrant.

Woman arrested at the Salvation Store on South Limit on a Pettis County Warrant

Just after 11am Friday morning Sedalia Police responded to the Salvation Army store at 1305 South Limit on a disturbance. Upon arrival the officers made contact with two subjects who reportedly had an altercation after one of them made a rude remark. A check through dispatch revealed one of the subjects identified as 34-year-old Pamela N. Woodward of Sedalia had a warrant out of Pettis County. Woodward was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending a $2500 bond.

Sedalia man with warrants arrested Friday afternoon

At 3:43 Friday afternoon Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 16th and State Fair Blvd. with expired license plates. A check on the occupants of the vehicle revealed a passenger, 43-year-old Tony Ray Slayden of Sedalia had two-warrants from the Pleasant Hill Police Department. Slayden was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending $874 in bonds.

Theft Reports from the Sedalia Police Department

At 6:50 Thursday morning a man in the 1600 block of East 6th reported $4000 worth of equipment had been stolen from his construction site.

Just after noon Wednesday Sedalia police took a theft complaint from a subject in the 600 block of East Broadway. According to the complainant a hot water heater valued at $500 was stolen from a house, that belonged to the bank he works for. The police report states there is a suspect in the case.
