38-year-old Sedalia man arrested on a warrant Sunday morning

Just before noon on Sunday Sedalia Police investigated a possible burglary in the 500 block of Sunset Drive. Upon arrival the subject who had been attempting to access the garage through a window was found to be the son of the owner of the home. During the investigation however dispatch informed the officer on scene, that the suspect identified as 38-year-old Robert Don Salmons Jr. had a failure to appear warrant. Salmons was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending a $15,000 bond.

Two Sedalia women arrested Saturday for stealing at Walmart

At 3:54 Saturday afternoon Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Walmart Store on a report of stealing. Upon arrival management told the officers two female suspects had exited the store with stolen merchandise. Arrested at the scene were 37-year-old Krisna Chumpraphai, and 35-year-old Jo-Anne Short both of Sedalia. At the time of the police report both suspects were on 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

Disturbance investigation results in drug related charges Friday afternoon

Around 3:48 Friday afternoon Sedalia Police were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence in the 1500 block of East 10th. Upon arrival officers made contact with juveniles having a dispute. The police report states the officers took the juveniles to their parents, and the dispute was resolved. The police report also states while at the residence officers smelled the odor of marijuana. Following an investigation 35-year-old Scott G. Siron of the residence was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was placed on 24-hour hold pending drug related charges.

Sedalia man arrested on drug related charges Sunday night

At 10:22 Sunday night Sedalia Police responded to a residence in the 300 block of West 5th on a suspicious person in the area. Upon arrival the officers reportedly smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle the person was in. Arrested in the incident was Chiron Byarie Webb of Sedalia. He was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail where he was booked and released with a court date.

Sunday afternoon a man in the 2000 block of East 7th reported 3-vehicles on his property were broken into, and had items stolen from them.

On Saturday an employee of Wood’s reported property was stolen from his jacket in the breakroom of the business.

Sunday afternoon a victim in the 400 block of West 16th reported his vehicle was sideswiped overnight, there were no suspects.
