Theft reports from the Sedalia Police Department

At 10:41 Thursday night Sedalia Police took a property damage complaint from a victim in the 700 block of South Hancock. Upon arrival the victim told the officers someone had damaged her business office’s air conditioner unit. The victim had reportedly already had the unit repaired at a cost of $291.48. There was no information on a possible suspect in the police report.

Just after 2pm Thursday afternoon a victim in the 2400 block of Greenwood Lane reported they had bought a Pioneer Mixer valued at $899. The victim said when the mixer was delivered to his house he was gone, and someone opened the box, and stole the mixer. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.

Around 11am Thursday morning a victim in the 1700 block of West 4th reported that sometime overnight someone entered his vehicle and stole a flashlight valued at $15. The victim also reported the thief had taken some personal papers from the vehicle. There were no suspects at news time.

At 10:12 Thursday night Sedalia Police investigated a theft of items in the 3100 block of West Broadway. According to a complainant several people entered the business, and fraudulently returned items to the store for refunds. The unidentified suspects then left the area.
