Four suspects arrested at Walmart on stealing charges Saturday night

At 9:39 Saturday night Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Walmart Store on four suspects. Upon arrival the complainant told the officers they had been observing the four suspects and believed they were about to leave the store without paying. Arrested at the scene were 38-year-old Maurice D. Persaud, 36-year-old Adam T. Ball, and 23-year-old Chisum W. Wilcoxson all of Warrensburg, on charges of shoplifting/stealing. The fourth suspect 25-year-old Nicholas H.C. Dunn of Chilhowee was arrested for stealing/shoplifting, burglary 1st degree, possession of marijuana, and possession of a synthetic drug. All four suspects were placed on 24-hour hold at the Pettis County jail pending formal charges.

19-year-old Sedalia woman arrested Sunday for active Camden County warrant

Sunday afternoon Sedalia Police investigated a disturbance in the 900 block of east 13th. During the investigation a check on 19-year-old Sierra D. Williams of Sedalia was found to have an active warrant out of Camden County. She was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending a $1000 cash bond on the warrant.

Man sleeping in his car at a carwash arrested on drug charges Sunday

Around 9:30 Sunday morning Sedalia Police observed a vehicle parked in a stall of a carwash in the 300 block of east 16th A check on the vehicle revealed 31-year-old Kevin D. Huff asleep in the vehicle. Huff reportedly admitted he drove the vehicle to the area, and was arrested for driving while suspended. A further investigation found that Huff was in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending charges.

Sedalia man arrested Sunday afternoon on multiple warrants

Just after noon on Sunday Sedalia Police arrested 32-year-old Warren Goodhand Clark III of Sedalia for multiple failure to appear warrants. At the time of the police report he was on 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail pending a probation violation warrant, three active failure to appear warrants, and identification theft.

Disturbance investigation lands a 21-year-old Sedalia man in jail Sunday

Just after mid-night Sunday morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 500 block of West 5th. Upon arrival the officers found a large group of people having a party.  During an investigation a suspect identified as 21-year-old Dimitriy P. Oveychuk of Hughsville had given them false information. He was also found to have a municipal warrant, and a Pettis County warrant. At the time of the police report he was in the Pettis County jail pending a $650 bond on the warrants.

Lincoln woman arrested Saturday afternoon for failure to appear

At 4:44 Saturday afternoon Sedalia police arrested 31-year-old Alexandria Michelle bates of Lincoln on a failure to appear on a summons, and a warrant for a misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond was set at $354.
17-year-old Kenneth E. Shulz of Sedalia  was arrested Saturday afternoon on a charge of assault in the area of Saline and Engineer. He was booked and released with a court date.

25-year-old Deanna K. Gilmore of Sedalia was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail for identification theft when she gave Sedalia Police Officers false information. She was booked and released at the Pettis County jail with a court date.

Saturday morning a complainant with Starbucks at 3040 West Broadway reported an attempted break in to the Sedalia Police. According to the complainant someone tried to pry open the drive thru window to gain access to the store. The incident is under investigation.

A theft from a vehicle in the 200 block of South Gentry was reported to the Sedalia police over the weekend. According to the victim thieves stole binoculars, and a cell phone from the vehicle. There is a witness who provided officers with suspect information.
