An accident involving a small deer was reported on South Ohio Friday

Around 5:30 Friday evening Sedalia Police were dispatched to the area of 24th and Ohio on a vehicle accident involving a small deer. Upon arrival the driver of the vehicle told the officers the doe was severely injured. The police report states the doe was put down at the scene.

Thieves target a local business early Friday morning

At 4:15 Friday morning Sedalia police investigated a burglary alarm activation at Tractor Supply located at 3901 West Broadway. Upon arrival the officers found a hole that had been cut in the fence to gain access. The police report states the thief or thieves took a Black and Yellow Club Cadet Rear Wheeled Mower valued at $399.99. There was no information on a suspect at the time of the police report.

Thieves steal tools from a truck on South Harrison

Sedalia Police investigated a theft complaint in the 1500 block of South Harrison over the weekend. According to the victim someone stole $120 worth of tools from his truck, while it was parked in front of his house. There were no suspects at news time.

Hit and run accident reported at 16th and Ingram Sunday evening

Just after 6:30 Sunday evening Sedalia Police investigated a hit and run accident at the intersection of 16th and Ingram Avenue. Upon arrival the female victim told the officers a gray and silver SUV hit her in the rear, then pulled around her and left the area. The suspect had not been located at the time of the police report.
