39-year-old Marshall man arrested during a traffic stop
At 9:13 this (Thursday) morning the Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle for speeding at Main and Winchester. A check through dispatch on the driver 39-year-old Jerron Q. Tatum of Marshall revealed he was revoked. Tatum was also found to have two prior arrests for driving while revoked. Tatum was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail and placed on 24-hour hold pending charges.
Suspect with a Pettis County Warrant after fleeing on foot Wednesday afternoon
Around 4pm Wednesday afternoon Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 5th and Wagner with a driver known to have a Pettis County Warrant. The police report states when the vehicle stopped the driver exited the vehicle and ran from the scene. The police report states the suspect could not be located, and drug evidence was located in the vehicle. The suspect was being sought at the time of the police report.
Daylight burglary reported in the 400 block of East 27th Wednesday
Just before 5pm Wednesday evening a victim in the 400 block of East 27th reported his home had been burglarized sometime earlier in the day. According to the victim the thief or thieves forced entry to the home through the back door, and stole jewelry valued at around $2000. Among the items taken were a wedding ring, and an engagement ring. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.
