30-year-old Sedalia woman arrested on multiple failure to appear warrants Wednesday

At 11:40am Wednesday morning Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check at a residence in the 1600 block of South Osage. Upon arrival an officer reportedly knocked on the front door of the residence and the suspect, 30-year-old Becky E. Thomas of Sedalia went out of the back door, where she met a second officer. Thomas was arrested on 3-misdemeanor failure to appear warrants, and 1-felony failure to appear warrant out of Pettis County. At the time of the police report Thomas was in the Pettis County jail total bonds of $81,650.

Sedalia man arrested Wednesday morning in the 800 block of east Broadway

According to a Sedalia Police report just before 11am Wednesday morning Sedalia Police made contact with a suspect with a warrant in the 800 block of east Broadway. The police report states 52-year-old Pavel Antoshuk of Sedalia was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $1500 bond on a charge of resisting arrest.

Dog bites man in the face Wednesday night

Just after 10am Wednesday night Sedalia Police were dispatched to Bothwell Regional Health Center on a reported dog bite. Upon arrival the victim told the officers his dog had bitten him in the right side of his face, at his home in the 600 block of North Prospect. There was no other information in the police report.

Vehicle theft reported Wednesday morning in the area of 6th and Washington

Just before 8am Wednesday morning Sedalia Police took a report of a vehicle theft from the victim at the police station. According to the victim someone stole his vehicle that was parked in the area of 6th and Washington. There were no suspects at news time.

Mountain Bike Found on Clinton Road

At 10:08 Wednesday morning a women’s Mountain Bike was found on the property occupied by the Clinton Carwash at 3100 Clinton Road. The bike has been placed in the found property shed at the police station.
