Un-named driver issued a summons for driving while revoked

At 6:43 this (Wednesday) morning Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 3rd and State Fair Blvd for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign. A check on the un-named driver revealed they were revoked. The police report states the driver was issued a summons for driving while revoked, and a warning for not stopping completely at a stop sign.

Neglected dogs at a residence in the 600 block of east 10th taken to the shelter

Just before 12:30 on Thursday the 26th of May the Sedalia Police were dispatched to 643 east 10th to check the welfare of two-dogs. Upon arrival the officers knocked on the front door, but did not get an answer. The officers found two Shih Tzu type dogs in the back yard without water, and adequate shelter. The police report states the officers took the dogs to the animal shelter, after leaving the owners a note on whom to contact.
