Let’s talk football. The draft is taking place this weekend, starting tonight at 7 p.m. and I have to say that it’s one of my favorite times of the year (sportswise, that is). Most people only care about their team and who they draft. To be honest, I don’t care as much about the new players being drafted as I do about the mention of former draft busts.
Furthermore, I appreciate the former quarterback draft busts. Let’s take a gander at ten of the biggest quarterback draft busts in NFL history! Keep in mind that this is only my opinion and are listed from oldest draft class to most recent. Also, I only used quarterback busts from the past 15 years.
When you hear that a 22-year-old college senior is going to spend four days in Las Vegas, your first thought is probably, “Oh yeah, PARTY CENTRAL!” Well, I can tell you right now that that’s not always true. See, I spent last week in the wonderful city of Las Vegas for something known as the NAB Show. The NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) Show is held once a year at the Las Vegas Conference Center. I’ve now had the honor of attending this conference the past two years.
In case you haven’t heard, "The Berenstain Bears LIVE!' are coming to Sedalia. We’re all pretty psyched about it and you should be too! To pump you up, here’s some information on the beloved children’s books that you may not have known until now.
As a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan, I have to say that I’m pretty stoked right now about the Chiefs' decision to trade for Alex Smith! I’ve gone through some rough seasons as a Chiefs fan, we all have, but I have high hopes for next year. The position we needed the most help with was at quarterback. Matt Cassel had one decent year with us, but his time is over. He turned the ball over way too much last year and was just awful. Brady Quinn isn’t the answer either. Ricky Stanzi never even got on the field despite how horrible we were last season, so I think that shows no one had confidence in him being the future of our team.
With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, it’s time to start thinking about plans for you and your significant other. Living in Warrensburg, it may seem like there aren’t a lot of options for the evening. Well, my friend, you would be wrong. Warrensburg, being a college town and all, has a plethora of restaurants that should make for an exciting evening. Let’s take a look at what Warrensburg has to offer, shall we?
