Barbara Jean Belt, 65, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at her home. She was born on April 1, 1948 in Sedalia, a daughter of Floyd and Josephine (Bailey) Kronk.

On October 31, 1964 in Sedalia she was united in marriage to Dilbert Gale Clark, Sr., who survives of Sedalia with his wife and Barbara’s best friend, Brenda Clark.
Barbara worked ten years at Break Time convenience store, Sedalia, where she made many friends. She also worked at Lamy’s Manufacturing and Interstate Studios. She enjoyed going to the casino boats, crocheting, and macrameing. She loved to dance. Barbara was baptized as a child in Georgetown, MO. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Sedalia.

She is survived by five children, Lisa Clark of Sedalia, Sandy Clark of Sedalia, Dilbert Clark, Jr. (Deanna) of Sedalia, Amy Clark of Sedalia, Blake Brandkamp of Sedalia; one sister, Lillian Whittington (Tom) of Climax Springs, MO; one brother, Sonny Kronk (Sandy) of Sedalia; three half-brothers, Billy Kronk (Betty) of Harrisonville, Joe Kronk,, Lloyd Kronk; three half-sisters, Candy Smith, Dora Kronk, Donna Traughber; ten grandchildren, Corey, Jeremy, Anthony, Dalton, Tyler, Blake, Levi, Austin, Ava, Trey; two great grandchildren, Connor and Alina.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Alberta Maholovich (Kenny) of Sedalia.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2014 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Sedalia with Pastor Jeremy Freeman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
