Betty Lee Payne, 66

Betty Lee Payne, 66, of La Monte, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. She was born on August 13, 1949 in Sedalia, MO, the daughter of Charles William and Helen Louise (Heinaman) Robb.

Betty enjoyed reading, listening to music, dancing, going to movies and visiting with friends. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan and was known for collecting bells and Elvis records.

She is survived by her mother, Helen Robb of Sedalia; a son, Jim C. Payne of Sedalia; a daughter, Barbara Schiermeier (Paul) of Chula Vista, CA; one brother, Bill Robb (Shirley) of Cole Camp, MO; three sisters, Bonnie Robb of Sedalia, Maryann Bishop (David) of Sedalia, and Rosemarie Robb of Sedalia; a granddaughter, Breanna Schiermeier; and her ex-husband Clark Payne of Sedalia.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Robb; and triplet brothers, Robert, Ronald, and Donald, all in infancy.

A graveside committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2015 at Crown Hill Cemetery, in Sedalia, MO.
