Betty Marie Legg, 88

Betty Marie Legg age 88 of Warsaw, MO passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Rest Haven Convalescent & Retirement Home in Sedalia, MO. She was born on April 30, 1926 in Fort Scott, KS. daughter of Carl and Eunice Cary Love.

On December 11, 1943 in Holyoke, Colorado she married William C. Legg and he preceded her in death on May 26, 2010. Betty worked as a seamstress from her home. She was involved with her church most all of her life. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, sewing and attending to her flowers. She also loved the time spent with her family and friends. She is survived by one son; Perry Legg (Rita) of Warsaw, MO, one daughter Donna West (Robert) of Sweet Springs, MO, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Rev. Merry Kroeger officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Kimbrell, Stanley Kimbrell, Steve Kimbrell, Donnie Smith, Tom Martin and Matthew Long.
