Carolyn Mae Stephens, 78, of Sedalia, passed away, Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia.  She was born on March 14, 1935, in Sedalia, a daughter of Rev. James and Margarete (Farris) McFall.

Carolyn enjoyed putting together puzzles and playing cards.  She also loved to crochet, sew and spend time with her grandchildren.  She was a member of Parkview Christian Church, Sedalia.   She is survived by three children, Michael (Rebecca) Stephens of Sedalia, Keith (Elaina) Stephens of Kansas City and Bryan (Tamara) Stephens of Springfield; three sisters, Rosalie Edwards of Sedalia, Donna (Gary) Lobaugh of Warsaw and Linda Stratton of Warsaw; nine grandchildren, Mallory, Bryce, Joel, Janelle, Cory, Kurt, Brent, McKayla, Brandon and three great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jim McFall and granddaughter, Tracy Stephens.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Parkview Christian Church, Sedalia with Pastor Rodney Brown officiating.

Burial of the ashes will be at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City, at a later date.   Memorial contributions are suggested to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
