Ray Bradbury, the legendary sci-fi author behind ‘Fahrenheit 451′ and host of the TV series ‘The Ray Bradbury Theater’ died this morning in Los Angeles at the age of 91.

The funeral for Lynn Phillips was held at the Celebration Center in Sedalia this morning (May 31).  Former students, parents and community members gathered along the east side of Highway 65 to honor the Skyline librarian by holding up children's books as the procession passed.  The tribute was organized by the Sedalia School District.
