Mid-Missouri Outlaws Deafeated by Omaha Beef

The Mid-Missouri Outlaws traveled to take on the Omaha Beef on Sunday afternoon (May 5) and lost 68-13. The Omaha Beef charged out to a 15 point lead before quarterback Damien Dunning was able to find Marcus James open for a 10-yard reception for a touchdown. The Beef proved why they are the co-leaders in the CPIFL by holding the Outlaws scoreless until 11:59 was left in the 4th quarter and scored 40 more points of their own during that time.

Mid-Missouri Outlaws to Face the Omaha Beef On the Road This Sunday

The Mid-Missouri Outlaws are in the midst of the most grueling portion of their schedule, taking on the top three teams three weeks in a row. Last week they lost to the CPIFL League leaders, the Wichita Wild, 82-9. Now they're ready to head north on the road for two games. The Outlaws will play the Omaha Beef (5-1) on Sunday (April 5) at 3 p.m and then the Sioux City Bandits (4-2) on Saturday, May 11 at 7:05 p.m.

MoKids Outdoors Hosting “Fishin’ For a Cure” at Liberty Park Next Weekend

Okay, I'm not going to give the weather any more chances.  It was 80.  Then it was in the 30s.  I'm going to boycott the weather, because when the shorts come out, they stay out.

The last week of turkey season was a little tough, for me anyway.  Crappie are being caught and people are finding mushrooms.  The time is upon us and that makes me happy happy happy.

Sedalia Holds Homecoming for Missouri National Guard’s 35th Combat Aviation Brigade [PHOTOS]

Families, friends and supporters gathered at the Mathewson Exhibition Center this morning as 120 soldiers of the 35th Combat Aviation Brigade of the Missouri National Guard returned from Kuwait. Governor Jay Nixon welcomed back the soldiers on behalf of Missouri and was proud of their efforts. Nixon said he appreciates the honor, courage, duty, a love of country that these men and women displayed and believes families and friends should be proud of their service.
