Lexus Just Created a Working Version of the ‘Back to the Future’ Hoverboard

With 2015 being the year Back to the Future II envisioned as the future, everyone is looking to celebrate what the future of 1989 was supposed to look like. Earlier this year, Nike announced they’d be releasing a version of Marty McFly’s self-lacing Air Mags. And now, Lexus may have one-upped them, releasing a teaser video revealing a sneak peek at an actual working hoverboard.

Channing Tatum Won’t Be Starring in a ‘Ghostbusters’ Movie After All

A few days ago, Channing Tatum got honest about a few things, including the status of that second Ghostbusters reboot. Ben Affleck Will Reportedly Direct and Star in New Batman Film Set For 2018

When Warner Bros. announced their upcoming superhero schedule last year, one title notably missing was a solo Batman movie. Sure, Batman was going to be a big part of both Batman vs. Superman and the two Justice League movies, but would Batfleck be getting his own trilogy, a la The Dark Knight? It turns out, yes, yes he will. Latino Review is reporting that Ben Affleck will both star in and direct the spinoff, titled The Batman, which is set for November 2018.

‘Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension’ Trailer: Found Footage Goes 3D

The first three Paranormal Activity movies, released in successive years from 2009-2011, made over $577 million worldwide. The fourth movie made half what the previous film did, and the fifth, a Latin-American themed spinoff subtitled The Marked Ones, made even less than that. The film built up a complicated mythology and then seemed to abandon it all. Tom Holland Officially Cast as Marvel’s New Spider-Man

Via a press release at, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have announced that they’ve found their next Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. It’s Tom Holland, the 19-year-old British actor best known as one of the stars of The Impossible. The studios also announced they’ve chosen a director to make the next Spider-Man movie, and it’s a surprising choice: Jon Watts, the director of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival selection Cop Car.

A sad day for fans of Eight is Enough and the world at large, as representatives of actor Dick Van Patten have confirmed news that the 86-year old passed away of unknown causes. The lifelong star was also known for his work in such Mel Brooks movies as Spaceballs and Robin Hood: Men in Tights.
