Ariel Castro Charged With Rape, Kidnapping; Held on $8 Million Bail

The Cleveland man accused of the horrifying abduction and rape of three women over the last 10-plus years, Ariel Castro, was arraigned in court on Thursday morning. He is being held on $8 million bail—$2 million for each of the three women he kidnapped and for the young girl one of the women gave birth to while in captivity.

The Mid-Missouri Outlaws will finish up their grueling three games versus the top three teams in the CPIFL this week. The Outlaws lost to the Wichita Wild 82-9 on Saturday, April 27, then lost to the Omaha Beef on the road on Sunday, May 5, 68-13. This week, the Outlaws travel to take on the Sioux City Bandits on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. The Bandits are currently tied for 3rd in the league with the Salina Bombers at 5-2.

The Central Missouri Mules fired a final round 285 on Wednesday to come from behind and win the NCAA-II Midwest/Central Super Regional with a three-round total of five-under par 859 at The Club at Strawberry Creek. Freshman Robby Hughey won the individual crown with a 13-under par 203.
