Watch the Best School Closing Announcement Ever [VIDEO]

It's that time of year: terrible winter weather means plenty of school closings. Here at the radio station, it's our job to relay those school closings to you. It's important, but I'll be honest, it gets a little boring listing off closing after closing every few minutes, day after day.

Well, the principal of an elementary school in Kentucky was also getting a little bored making the same old announcement day after day, so he enlisted the school's drama teacher and they recorded the greatest school closing message of all time.

Warrensburg Detectives Uncover Drug Operation on UCM Campus

Warrensburg detectives and UCM Public Safety Officers arrested 23-year-old Darrien E. Bruster on Monday (Feb. 3) after seizing over 10 ounces of marijuana, two digital scales and $2000 in cash while serving a search warrant at his apartment on the UCM Campus in Warrensburg.

Winter Storm Warning Issued for Pettis County, Emergency Snow Routes Activated

The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has issued a Winter Storm Warning for moderate to heavy snow, which is in effect from 6 a.m. Tuesday to 9 a.m. Wednesday for portions of West Central and Central Missouri, including Pettis County. The winter weather advisory is no longer in effect, and the City of Sedalia has activated the Emergency Snow Routes on the basis of the weather forecast.
