After 41 games this Summer, the MINK League South Division Championship comes down to one final game. The Sedalia Bombers will travel to Nevada to take on the Griffons who are tied with the Bombers for first place in the South Division.
The Sedalia Bombers wrapped up the weekend with two big wins over the Chillicothe Mudcats to pull within two games of first place. The Nevada Griffons, who currently sit atop the MINK league South Division, have lost their last two games, leaving some room for the Bombers to make a late push for first.
Sedalia Bombers Manager Jud Kindle has been named the new head coach for the Smith-Cotton High School baseball team. Kindle is a former Smith-Cotton Tiger himself and brings a lot of experience and knowledge to the Tigers baseball team.
The Sedalia Bombers have been playing great baseball lately. The pitching has been phenomenal and the Bombers have been more than effective at the plate. The Bombers are tied for first in the South Division of the MINK League after a one-run win against division foe Nevada Griffons on Thursday night (June 27).
