Charles Byron Dilthey age 89 of Warrensburg passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg. He was born on October 14, 1925 in Beaman, Missouri son of William C. and Zula McMullin Dilthey. He was married on August 20, 1950 in Sedalia to Mary "Marty" Windsor and she preceded him in death on December 4, 1999. He was a Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict. Charles was a farmer for over sixty years.

He is survived by a son; Harold Dilthey (Kathie) of Knob Noster, two daughters; Carol Kennedy (Kevin) of St. Louis, MO, Dianne Stelter (Gary) of Leavenworth, Kansas, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded by one sister; Zula Marlin.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Richards officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 7:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Vincent Kennedy, Joseph Kennedy, Nicholas Dilthey, Eddie Schouten, Randy Martin and Roy Allen. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Crossroads Hospice. You may leave condolences online at ewingschuttesemlerfh.com
