Charles Chris Garber Jr.,81

Charles Chris Garber Jr., 81, of Sedalia passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Missouri.  He was born on November 25, 1933 at Excelsor, Missouri, the son of Charles Chris Garber Sr. and Mary Gladys Grant, who preceded him in death.

On April 17, 1972 in Miami, OK, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Evelyn Paxton Allen, who survives of the home.

Besides his wife he is survived by a sister; three step sons; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Duane Deuschne officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the church or to the American Cancer Society in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
