Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler Speaks About ISIL Threat

The recent and ongoing ISIL threat in the Middle East has continued to go on and Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler spoked to a packed State Fair Community College Thompson Conference Center about this threat on Tuedsay night (Oct. 7).

Hartzler recently spent ten days on a House Armed Services Committee trip to Israel, Jordan, Egypt and Morocco and got insight on their concerns and issues with the ISIL threat.

In addition to talking about ISIL, Congresswoman Hartzler invited all Veterans and those interested to attend her Veterans Summit at the University of Central Missouri, Elliott Union, Room 240. There will be three panel discussions about personal, emotional, spiritual, family and career issues of returning vets; continuing eduction and career opportunities for returning vets and the perspective from a public school administrator; and discussion of VA healthcare and benefits, Missouri Veterans Commission, public and private vets service organizations resources.
