Darlene Lee Brockman, 81, of Cole Camp, died Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Good Samaritan Care Center, Cole Camp.  She was born on September 12, 1933, at Woodward, Oklahoma, a daughter of Lee and Zelpha (Turnage) Booth.  She was baptized as a child and graduated from high school in Woodward.

On November 7, 1953, at Woodward, Oklahoma, she was united in marriage to Vernon Brockman.  This union was blessed with the gift of two sons, David and Roger.

Darlene and Vernon made their home farming on the Balke Prairie southeast of Cole Camp.  She was confirmed in the Lutheran faith in 1954 and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.  She later transferred her membership to Trinity Lutheran Church.  She was a homemaker and served many years as room mother while her sons were in school. She had worked at the Golden Age Living Center in Stover and TJ's in Cole Camp.  For several years, she a member of the Household Arts Committee for the Cole Camp Fair.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and baking, playing cards, spending time with her family and attending her sons and grandsons ball games.

She is survived by:
two sons, David Brockman and his wife Judy and Roger Brockman and his wife Thaney both of Cole Camp;
a brother, John Booth and his wife Jenna of Neosho;
four grandsons, Andy Brockman and his wife Jessica, Riley Brockman and his wife Cassandra, Unser Brockman, and Kinser Brockman, all of Cole Camp;
a great-granddaughter, Addison Brockman; and
two great-grandsons, Maddox Brockman and Lane Brockman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Zelpha and Lee Booth, and her husband Vernon Brockman on July 24, 2009.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Cole Camp, with Pastor Jeffrey Kuddes  officiating.  Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, rural Cole Camp.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp, with prayer service to be held at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Michael Boothby officiating.

The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Bethlehem Cemetery in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

Pallbearers will be Andy Brockman, Riley Brockman, Unser Brockman, Kinser Brockman, Mike Schlesselman, and Mark Kestner.
