Dee Ann Burkhalter, 63

Dee Ann Burkhalter, 63, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014 at her home.

She was born on November 18, 1950 in Sedalia, a daughter of Richard and Nathalie June (White) Kasak. On February 27, 1972 in Sedalia she was united in marriage to Victor Michael Burkhalter, who preceded her in death on September 7, 2007.

Dee Ann enjoyed raising and showing rabbits and especially love spending time with her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by three children, Heather Miller (Scott) of Ballwin, MO, Annie Funk (Chad) of Galena, OH and Wade Burkhalter of Sedalia; five grandchildren, Dawson, Alex, Emma, Brayla and Elena; and a sister, Nancy Burkhalter (Marvin) of Windsor, MO.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Bill Douglas officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

Pallbearers will be Clinton Burkhalter, Clayton Burkhalter, Brad Legg, David Grotheer, Chad Funk and Scott Miller.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Crossroads Hospice in care of the chapel.
