Della May Wilburn, 91

Della May Wilborn, 91, of Sedalia, died Sunday evening August 30, 2015 at the Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Missouri.

She was born March 16, 1924, in Sedalia, Missouri, daughter of Abby and Nettie Chaney Abney. On May 9, 1942, in Sedalia, she married Kenneth Wilborn, he preceded her in death in January 1986.

Mrs. Wilborn was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and had worked as a supervisor for Inter State Studio.

She is survived by a daughter Karen Annalee Luper and husband Donald, Hughesville, Mo; a sister Judy Goff and husband Gary, Sedalia; three grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Wilborn, two brothers, Sonny Abney, Jackie Abney a sister, Virginia Downs and a grandson, Tracy Wilborn.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the Ewing Schutte Semler Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Abney officiating.

Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Donnie Luper, Dalton Luper, Tyler Dake, Mike Lubbering, Peyton Lubbering, and Seth Reynolds. Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Dake, Alex Dake, Jordan Luper, Trey Wilborn, Rian Wilborn and Krista Wilborn.
