Dixie Grace Clark (Van Steenburgh), 72

Dixie Grace Clark, (Van Steenburgh), 72 of Sedalia passed away Monday, July 31, 2012 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born on December 1, 1940 the daughter of Thomas Van Steenburgh and Margaret Stone. Dixie was born in Saline County near Blackwater. She grew up on a farm during difficult times.

She raised her daughter Brenda and dedicated herself to parenting Steve and J.J. Dixie was a hardworking, strong willed woman and will be missed. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years of service.

A memorial service will be held at the LDS Church, 1201 West Broadway, in Sedalia at 11:00 on Saturday, August 4th. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
