Donald Leroy Dietzman age 73 of Sedalia passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Rest Haven Convalescent and Retirement Home.

He was born on June 28, 1941 in Sedalia son of Charles and Lillian Burlingame Dietzman. In February of 1960 he married Elizabeth Meyers. He then was married to Marie Hughes in February of 1971. He later married Rosemary Rohr in Sedalia and she survives of the home.

Donald worked as a forklift driver early on for Swift Processing Company. He worked for the Pettis County Road District and was later a mechanic for the Sedalia 200 Bus Barn. He also delivered the Sedalia Democrat and was a driver for Advanco Medical. He enjoyed fishing and spending the winter at South Padre Island.

He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Besides his wife he is survived by five daughters; Terry Zaremba of Sedalia MO, Tammie Dotson (Rick) of Mora, MO, Tricia Ulmer of Sedalia, MO, Jessica Rabeneck (James) of Gladstone, MO, Sheila Brown (Larry) of Sedalia, MO, one son; Timothy Sheets (Sharina) of Warrensburg, MO, one brother; Bobby Dietzman and one sister; Patsy Vansel both of Sedalia, MO, two stepdaughters; Melanie Wakefield of Sedalia, MO, Kimberly Rohr of Calhoun, MO, one stepson; Kevin Rohr of Sedalia, MO, twenty-seven grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.

He was preceded by his parents, two sons; Randy and Ronald Dietzman, two daughters; Patricia and Maria Dietzman, one grandson; Michael Lawson, three great grandsons; Baby Boy and Jeremy Twenter, Jacob Zaremba, one step granddaughter; Ocean McCoy.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Chaplain Bill Douglas officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Wednesday. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Dotson, Daniel Dietzman, Shane Zaremba, Joshua Zaremba, James Purser and Tyler Sheets.
